Feb 10 Conroe

Conditions look good for a very good fishing day we were ahead of a front it was cloudy and the wind was low we started out fishing under roosting birds for catfish fishing was real good on cut bait for about 30 minutes then it stopped we made a change to fish for Crappie on brush piles researched several brush piles we seen some fish but they would not bite on minnows are jigs so where you at drift fishing for catfish figure covering more territory with more lines will produce more fish but that was slow to at the end of the day we went back to that same roosting birds and caught a few more today was not a total bust but was slower than expected Lake Conroe will humble even the best fisherman but don’t let that deter you there are more good days than bad see you on the lake this is Carl Wethook guide
