Wethook Fishing Report

9/24/2010Water surfaces temperature is in the low 80's.
Catch Large Mouth Bass close to bank at daylight and
at dusk use spinner bait, crank baits. also shaded
docks in the heat of the day use pig& jig,
and plastic worms.
For Chanel Catfish in main
lake use punch bait near brush on baited holes.
Blue Catfish are doing well on jug lines in main
lake at 20 to 35 feet of water on points and ridges
use brim and shad for bait.on the rocks in 6 to
12 feet of water, use glow worms, mill worms and crickets.
Crappie are a little slow on brush piles
at 15-25 foot of water use minnows
for best results.
Hybrids and White Bass are slow but
should improve as the water temperature
cools down.
